Can anyone advise on this at all? Started on Metformin couple years ago. 500mg, hba1c 6.8. Recently went to 7 and Metformin increased to 100mg. Now 6.9 and GP increased to 2000mg. I started feeling exceptionally tired after the initial increase and am bit concerned with it being doubled again, especially as I work nights. Is this medication increase normal? Thank you

Have you altered your diet since diagnosis or are you relying on the Met to do the heavy lifting ?
The medical profession believe diabetes to be a progressive condition that requires further medication over time.
This process can be halted & even reversed by tackling the disease & not just treating the symptoms.
Low carb, weight loss & increased exercise are your weapons in this fight.

I would say get your B12 checked...Taking metformin can cause vitamin B12 deficiency. best of luck.
