Hello just curious really but can you be put on metformin if you are on an insulin pump???

- Acceptance of health treatment claims that are not adequately supported by evidence. I dislike it when people sell ineffective and even harmful alternative health products to exploit the desperation of people with chronic illness.
I don't see why not, as many T1s have insulin resistance and are on metformin, and a pump is just a delivery system.

I did think that too but haven't really heard of it! Nurses and consultants have mentioned metformin to me before!

Yes you can, there's a few type 1's on the forum who take metformin to help with insulin resistance.
