O
Been having migraine attacks for 2 years now. But recently they are ge ting more frequent like every couple of days but with short term memory
the same time. Like big blanks in my memory. The G P is going to
refer me to a Neurologist. To anybody who has ever had migraine attacks I.m Just wondering did they have memory problems the same time as the migraine attacks. Because I am Getting worried now in case I have a brain tumour or something similar. Thanks in advance.

I have a couple of brain tumours on my trigeminal nerves. They give me no problems at all and are only the size of lentils.
I was having trigeminal neuralgia attacks but not for three years now since doc put me on Tegretol. Those attacks are terrifying! Known in America as the suicide disease but thankfully the medication seems to be controlling it well.
I have the same tumours on my spinal cord and they are called Schwannomas and they are benign so shouldn't be killing me anytime soon.
Had the spinal ones for maybe twenty years. They cause me moments of pain and moments of loss of feeling and often give me mobility problems.
If you met up with me today you'd think there was nothing wrong with me other than having a walking stick but later or tomorrow or next week I might be stuck in bed for days might be using my electric wheelchair round TESCO where people saw me walking with a stick the day before and then maybe the day after. All disabilities are not visible all of the time.
Hoping for the best for you.
