Hi All. On friday I was cooking up a temperature and with high BG levels too . Despite titrating up my insulin! Thought I was brewing or cooking something up [few bugs about near where I live.] Checked keytones with piddle stick - was pinky colour. Saturday I had 'a' migrane for most of the day  Was light sensitive and felt queasy too . Took syndol/paracetamol for it - did "nothing" to relieve it . Never had a migrane for 'years' - must be about 3-4yrs since last one... Today saw my GP all about the above - he took my blood pressure . Told me it was sky high  He says if I get a headache again like saturdays 'go straight to hospital' Am stunned and worried 'now' :eh: Gave me some Amlodipine 5mg and said take one as soon as you get home :o So I have ... Also said if my ankles swell up on this meds to go straight back to see him. Had to book to see the practice nurse next week for BP check too . So have done this . Honestly I feel fine today, far better than I felt on friday and saturday. BG's are still raised and on the high side [ woke up with 11.3 :( ] This has all got me concerned now. Anyone else experienced similar or same? Anna.
