Ok. You are not.

Mince pies are rather disgusting though. So maybe..........

Now if it had been baileys and stollen....... Who me?

I've had a few as well, on and off.

Covered mine in brandy, or orange cream.

Well, it is a holiday.

Mine had brandy cream on too. Really must stop now. I've had something I shouldn't every day now for a week. Shortbread, Christmas cake, a mince pie, chocolates. Time to get back on the waggon now. Have thumping headache! Serves me right! I do know better! Thanks @douglas99 and @Pipp xxx

@Pipp I know I've had too many carbs when...
Instead of Morph, I am seeing a gingerbread man!

I have not enjoyed the so called 'treats'. They are so addictive. As I have been housebound for nearly a week, I have been so tempted to indulge. It doesn't help that my in laws are trying to kill me by sending chocolate, biscuits and booze. They know about my diabetes too.

Now you all know I am not well , and we have a box of mincepies in the cupboard ....
Good job my appetite is not back yet ....which of you said fudge

tha

@Scandichic you know it was the drink that caused the headache , please return my iv drip .....

Bs 8.5 4 hours later! Eek!

f I said something rude would you tell me?

I've been utterly obsessed with mince pies since October.

Particularly odd because last year I didn't bother to eat more than 1!

Then my Tescos order for Finest Mini ones (11g carbs ea) fell through,
I had no choice... none whatsoever!

And so the mincemeat mug cake was born!

Actually, I am quitting this food porn thread!
There is plenty of broccoli in my fridge. Yum!

Too late@douglas99
Busy following your mince pie and brandy diet.

Must admit, I also had a mince pie, (no cream), and a hot chocolate before christmas, but I had just been diving dressed as santa, in water at 10C, so I think I'd probably burnt off the calories beforehand!
(I couldn't test though)

it's ok..I got some low GI sugar for xmas
