just starting on a very low carb diet having gained almost a stone in weight since May despite having a decent average bs level of 5.8 ish problem is my bs is now 3.8 wondering what to eat to bring it up a bit, I'd normally have a banana which restores me to around 6 ish
Come to the conclusion I might need to half my glicazade because of vlcd
Any advice welcome

No I haven't spoken to the nurse who sees me at the diabetic clinic she would have hysterics recommending a nice low gi diet which sends my bs sky high
Hope everyone else is having better weather than we are here in NE England

3.8 shouldn't be problem, it's actually normal but if you are on meds like glicazide I suppose it can fall further so something carby might be useful?

The advice for people on BG lowering meds is to keep close check on BG and reduce the dose to avoid hypos. Or so I have heard anyway. You do know the brilliant http://www.dietdoctor.com/lchf site I hope?
