Misdiagnosis? type 2 levels what's going on

Surely it depends on the carbs?
I've stopped eating anything sugary/simple carbs
Juice,fruit,sweets etc
I haven't had any for more than 6 months
I can eat 30/40g carbs in one meal and not see a rise in blood sugar(depending on type of carb/meal)

This is where I'm confused
Everyone on here states no carbs at all
My diabetic dietician says I can have carbs in moderation (even saying I could have dessert etc occasionally)
I'm not overly fussed for carbs if I'm honest but I'm not working at the moment and eating very low carb isn't doable financially

I eat around 25 g of carbs a meal, anymore than that and my readings go out of my targets. I think I have realised that for my long term health 99.9% of the time I have to be good. But for me, I can have a treat if it’s scaled down to reduce the carb intake as much as possible. I’m not on meds, just diet and exercise.

Yeah i could probobly eat any carb i wanted now.

For awhile

Then after awhile i would gain weight and my insulinresistance would increase to the point that my bloodsugar would rise out of control again. Like i said in my first post: im a sugaraddict.

Like an alcoholic or heroinist i need to stay clear of that s***. Eating to much carbs gives me sugarcravings.
