I eat a good Breakfast and take my 2 Diabetes tablets and all is well, I try and have a Banana at around 11am but I dont really feel like Lunch. I often forget and get carried away with something and end up having hypo's in the afternoon :(
The Lowest 2.8 was yesterday and it came on all of a sudden, one minute cooking our evening meal next nearly on the floor shaking and palpatations.
Whats the best thing to eat at Lunch when you dont feel like eating, something little that will keep my sugars right and stop me from having a hypo.

Thanks for reading
Linda

Hi Linda...
What 'time do you actually feel like eating ?
I nibble a chopped up apple if am 'not' hungry to keep hypo at bay...
the 'natural' sugar in the apple keep my level up thus prevent a hypo!
Am 'guilty' of eating too little occassionally and have learned the hard way...
Try having some fromage frais with your banana [microwave for a second] then add blob of
fromage frais onto it... This will raise carb for you.
Plus it tastes sweeter!
Try couple of crackers with cottage cheese n cherry toms on?
Sliced boiled egg n ham slice ?
Melon slice, handful of grapes, handful of almonds.
Lite bite suit me far better than a proper heavier meal ...
So I 'do' understand what you mean here!

Thanks Anna
Some good suggestions there
If im driving or excersing I take a sandwich with me and I dont have hypo's. Its mainly when im home I struggle to remember to eat.
I will set a reminder on my phone and try something small.
