Hello. I have been injecting Humulin M3 insulin for over a year now. This insulin contains both a rapid acting and long lasting insulin.
I know your abdomen absorbs insulin the quickest compared to other injection sites. Therefore which is the best place to inject this type of insulin if any ?
Many thanks for any input.
Edward.

Hi @eddie1968 ,

I use mixed insulin. I won't tell you what's "best" but I'll tell you what I do.
I inject left and right legs alternately in the mornings. (A nurse at the endo centre told me legs are good if you're moving around a bit afterwards. ) For my evening injection I use my abdomen and inject in a circular pattern so as not to use the same spot twice in succession. Hope this helps you work out a routine.

Cheers! Thanks for the tips.
