I have been suffering with Achilles Tendinitis in my left ankle for a week or so but I have had to stop taking the prescribed cream which I was putting on my ankle as it dried all my skin and start to give me a burning sensation when applied. Doctors recommended that I go back onto Ibuprohen (2 x 400mg) 3 times a day alternating with paracetamol. Now I am trying to space this out during the day to avoid taking them at the same time as I have to take my metformin (3 x 400mg) & Simvastin (1 x40mg). Does anybody have any experience of taking Ibuprohen with metformin? Dont seem to have any issue but just wondering?
