mixing

Hi, just been put on metformin but also on novorapid as dns says got some insulin resistance , also on various other drugs. Is amlodipine,losartan,clopidgril, atoravastatin,co codamol, lanzoprazole, I'm worried about the side effects of ,the metformin along with the insulin, also been told that I should not drink alcohol on this medication as it can cause lactic acid .anyone got any advice. Ps. Not taken any metformin yet.

( but not the co codamol or metformin)

there are other type 1's on the forum taking both met and insulin

the alcohol avoidance might be because of the co codamol.

Hi, I do not take the cocodamol every day ,only on bad days, thanks
