Hi there,
I'm wondering if anyone can offer any insight as to how long it might typically take for a new phone to be tested and have Dexcom apps running on it?
I've just upgraded from a pixel 7 pro to a pixel 10 and stupidly didn't check compatibility before purchasing. I'd really rather not downgrade as the aim was to keep this as long as possible once i've bought it.
Also, how easy is it to get a reciever through the NHS? Thinking that could be a temp solution.
I also remember there being a guy that built his own version of the dexcom g6 app to work with more phones, I used to pay into his patreon but now can't find the info - if anyone can recall that I'd be grateful of a point in the right direction.
General input/advice welcomed!
Thanks!

Assume the Dexcom software refuses to install on Pixel 10?

Alternative to Dexcom software is xDrip - been using it years as wanted BG on my watch to alarm, and no CGM supported it.

It supports Dex G6, G7 One and One+ (G7 with knobbed features but available on NHS - I use this). xDrip gives full functionality back.

Will display and alarm on your phone, watch etc. Takes a bit of technical fiddling but the documentation is excellent - recommend its worth a look.

I might have to pick your brain @CheeseSeaker I've just been prescribed the One+ (as the libre2+ wasn't working very well) - I'd seen that XDrip+ should handle it, I just need to dig through the instructions! :)

I am curious though about phone compatibility with the official app - my phone isn't in the list and I'd assumed it would probably work, but is there in fact some sort of check it does to prevent it running on un-tested models?
