Read this article and found it puzzling.
Some people do not have a choice as to this mode of transport and they may have very limited movement so that their exercise is limited.
I think that a person who uses one of these and follows healthy eating and tries to exercise may become very worried. It is not the scooter that causes the diabetes but the lifestyle.

I have seen people on these contraptions who smoke, eat burgers and sandwiches as they travel and it follows that if you do this then things are going to happen. I just wish that all users were made to take a test as to their suitability to be in charge of one of these as I am fed up with the way that some think they have priority on pavements and, sometimes, roads. There are proposals for new laws,
