Monitor with phone app

Hi All,
I’ve been looking at monitors and think I’d like one that connects to an app on my phone. What with caring for my 21 month old son, partner with severe ADHD (I am his memory) and renovating our house, I’m struggling to keep on top of recording each reading etc. and think an app would be far easier.

Any recommendations?

thanks

Hi,

The MySugr app is a free (add free.) go to app for android.
I use an app called Diaconect. Which synched my Andoroid phone with iPad for logging BGs carbs & dose.
For me that has a more at a glance comprehensive readout.

Hope this helps. Hopefully there may be more ideas?

The Contour Next One has an app that can be linked via blue tooth, its a great wee meter, shaped kind of like a USB stick xx

That’s really useful thanks. Ill have a look, I’ve got an iPhone but there must be apple versions. Do they make it easier to record as I’m using my Notes app and it’s a nightmare to follow, hence why I was hoping for a monitor that has an associated app

I've been using this one for years. manual input. It was originally called "Diaconnect?" The app icon on my ipad still names it thus. Yet my android phone has changed..
Pretty straight forward. I synch cross platforms using my email account.
Just found a link to the site here. http://diabetesconnect.de/en/

Now my meter has a bluetooth addon which i tried with MySugr. i found it easier to manually input stuff. & switch back to the aforementioned app.
There are some great meters out there set up for this.
However. it depends on what your HCPs are willing to prescribe testing strip wise for these meters??
Some companies will give away the actual meters. The money is made on the consumable strips.

Accu-Chek by Roche are one of a few manufacturers of meters that integrate to Apple via Bluetooth
