i got a freestyle monitor gives e reading of 7.9
bought a code free one
gives a reading of 9.0
tried it a few times
still a gap of 1.1
wondering why

I have tested both of these meters against a control solution and the SD does read approx. 1 point higher at that part of the scale. They just read differently and someone else said it's because they read in different ways. I wouldn't know about that but the SD does read high.

My Codefree test strips tend to read even highger when I open a new batch, then they seem to settle down , still a bit high though.
