Monitoring hba1c, triglyceride

Hello everyone,
It looks my triglyceride level improving in the past years and also hba1c fluctuating between 7-8. I am about to buy a monitoring device specally forint triglyceride but hba1c monitoring would be also nice to have. Do you have any experience/ suggestion? I am sick with type 1 since 25 years. Zoltán, Hungary
 
High triglyceride is mostly due to liver fat the best way to reduce liver fat is a low carb diet.
