It seems you are slowly making progress with the sensor application, don’t worry about taking us a nurse’s time when reapplying, that is what they are there for supporting our health. I’ve just swopped to the Libre 2 Plus…must admit I didn’t notice any difference in preparing and installing, but not taken it out so not looked at filament…do know I still get sensor pressure ‘lows’.
Ye slowly slowly I'm sure will get there eventually at least on libre side. Hopefully will start to take less time admin the insulin injections. Bright side I like maths... So carb counting should be a breeze

Toujeo (and every insulin glargine like Lantus or Abasaglar) are known for stinging, I hated my Lantus for this reason.
You could ask if you can switch to Tresiba, which doesn't sting for me at all.
I was originally on Lantus, and was moved to Abasaglar, neither of these gave me stinging.

I would stick with it, but is still should not bleed when you inject.

- How far do you push the need in? I was told not to push too hard but to just let it side in and stop when the needle is in, the injections are subcutaneous not intra muscular!

I am also needle phobic as well, I pass out at the sight of them, but since being diabetic I realise this is life saving, so just have to deal with it, I just don't look and sing a song when they take blood! Yet Insulin injections are fine with me, I have been doing it for about 7 years!

When I broke my knee I had some blood thinning needle that I had to do once a day into my stomach! and those needles weer HUGE, but somehow I got through it!!

Keep on with it, it will get easier!

It will get easier with time I'm sure regards how far push it in 5mm in using auto shield duo safety needles (can't see them) so can't push in further than above nor could inject shorter length either. I've not got much fatty tissue stomach area but very high trig and high cholesterol consultant and nurse said need get down those levels get bloods done again couldn't go through with it. If I put on wait whilst keeping those levels lower it would apparently sting less. A little blood is fairly common apparently but should be fairly rare
