Hello, does anyone know if diabetes/insulin has an affect on mood in general? In addition find it seems to interact with PMT makes me feel irritable a lot of the time. Some days I also wake up aching like mad its intermittent but quite painful. I am type 1 taking novorapid/Lantus.

Not sure if it is related to the medicine but I think I am less patient and my emotions are slightly more extreme. With me it could just as easily be that the whole newly diagnosed with diabetes business has just made me less willing to be accepting - a kind of lifes "too short so I will say if I am not happy about something" type situation.
I am also on novorapid / Lantus but as a relative newby would rather not change until I am sure I know what I am doing
