Can anyone help? T2 on Humulin3 Mix + Metformin + Glicazide + Januvia. Currently well controlled except for early morning/fasting reading. Example - 4.9 at 11.30pm last night & insulin at 9.30am this morning with reading of 8.4 fasting. Doesn't make sense!!!
 
I don't know if the dawn phenomenom applies to T2s? I would be well chuffed if my daughter regularly had blood sugars of 8.4 in the morning. I don't know what is normal for a T2 in the morning so I'll go an stick my oar in somewhere else.
