Morning blood sugar

been type 2 and the fact i get no sodding help from the NHS at all
What time should you test what should it be ?
 
Hi turvil, am out of bed..before a meal then at 1 hr and 2 hrs...if you have enough strips
 
What should the morning level be ?
 
Fasting level aim for between 4 and 6 although I am normally low 6s now and I am happy enough at that, if I can get it lower all the better but anything below 7 seems acceptable. Some here are down into the 3 and seem fine at those levels for me anything below 4.5 and I start feeling ill (not been that low in a morning, but some pre meals are now)
 
Hi turvel, true normal is 3.5=4.5 only rising by one mm/il, but for us diabetics, if we can get down to 5.5 on average thats considered v good
