Morning High's of 8ish

This seems to work for some, maybe I'll' try a few berries next ( I'm a bacon and egg girl! )

It seems to be a very fine line between bringing DP down or pushing sugars even higher for me. 2 or 3 grams can help bring things down in the morning but 5 will send me higher. It is very frustrating.

Difficulties persist even though I am not overweight, eat well and EXERCISE. Odd. But seriously, thanks for all the helpful posts. I have switched my exercise to the evening, eat a small supper of a boiled egg and try to sleep longer - which is not natural for me. First thing my levels are now down to 7.6 ish - but dropped to 3.6 two hours after dinner. Back to docs for a medication rethink.

I have tried stopping eating at 7pm and not eating until breakfast around 8am so giving me a fasting window of 12 plus hours has no affect

I found that I needed multiple days of at least 16 hour fast to help lower fasting glucose from 7-8 mmol to a consistent 5.5 mmol. That means last meal of the day around 2pm...then breakfast around 6-7 am. That has kept my fasting level stable around 5.5 mmol for the past year.

The only time that I managed to improve it further to < 5.0 mmol was when I went on a 3 day water fast. But it didn't stay at that level for long once I resumed normal feeding, dinner at 7pm. So I am still back to 5.5 mmol.
