Thought I would walk our pup Iggy before breakfast to see what type of effect it would have to my before breakfast reading. It did nothing :o . It was 7.2 , was hoping as I have been having high 6's and low 7's that I'd might get a lower figure.

Oh well at least I managed to walk Iggy before it rains and got my exercise

Hi !!

I too have dogs to walk but I think the length and the style of walk really contributes. If I stroll along enjoying the scenery , nothing happens - but if I do at least an hour, with attitude !, i get a good result in the readings department. Anything between 10 - 30 minutes appears to be insignificant for me. We're all different though.

But your 6s and 7s sound great!!

CathyN ( 1 collie puppy, 3 elderly collies, 1 greyhound , 1 lurcher )

It was a brisk on a mission walk lol.
I have noticed that my levels go down after a good walk so was hoping it would be lower in the morning. Through out the day I have been getting 6's and 5's with the odd 4 and did go to 3.9 the other day . :)

Wow - never had a 3.9 !!! Never had a 4 !! I must do more dog walking!!! :(

These were rare figures , would love them to be more regular. This morning was 6.4 with no morning walk. So want to get my morning figures down as GP did say he may have to think about giving me something else for the morning.

Im have had a lot of 'bad' days when I havent had the energy to walk him until hubby gets home(kept my energy for work) so he has only had one walk, other days I manage a short lunch time walk before I start work and then we have another when I finish work. Yesterday was the first time in months that Id taken him out that earlier, tried a really brisk walk then came home and fell asleep lol
