Evening all. Have come to a stage where I think the quacks and my dsn are desperate. The pre gablin has gone the way of the amotryptalin useless so now after the report from the physiotherapist. They are sending in THE PAIN TEAM  no not a bad sequel to the upcoming A-Team movie but the people who are going to give me my legs back  . Sorry but I got my bloods down (27 - 8.1) at the order of specialist quack  bad me. took the meds and struggled with nothing working and got my bloods up(10 - 12) yet taking morphine will fix everything the last time I was given morphine I saw goldfish and woke up missing my appendix. I DON'T BELIEVE ANY OF THEM....... 6 months has killed my already tiny patience gland

the pain is worse the ds doc never called back  to arrange scans and pain team. Fell with the snow my legs are much weaker. But it could be worse :) cheers for asking

During a bladder infection - for which I was hospitalised - many years ago, I was prescribed Pethidine for the indescribable pain. Instant, total and utter relief - paradise actually - but was floating around the ward for hours, possibly not good for maintaining normal day-to-day activities...?! I visited pain clinic once on another occasion to sort a persistent reminder of an old skiing injury, no Pethidine that time, but they certainly knew what they were doing, one jab of cortisone and I've never had a recurrence. Hope you get your problem(s) sorted.

Hello again ham

Since they haven't got back to you yet have you yourself got in touch again. I know how debilitating unremitting pain can be and waiting for help makes it even worse. Sometimes you have to get in touch drect with the hospital as waiting for the GP to do it can be a very lengthy procedure. The last time my GP was writing to the hospital it took a whole month to get the letter typed out so I will never just wait to hear ever again. Perhaps you need to push the 'hurry' button?

Hope you didn't make things even worse with the fall - just wondering how things are today. :|

Everything is being done directly through the diabetic clinic as my diabetes care has been handed over to my db doc and dsn. but still fighting and falling cheers for the reply :D
