Had a blood test the other day and my GP rang me this morning. My stomach immediately sunk and I mentally went into some kind of flight/fight response expecting bad news because it’s unusual for my GP to ring me unless something is wrong.
Turns out that my latest blood results were so good that he felt he had to let me know. Best results in 5 years apparently. Lipase, amylase, electrolytes, liver function, kidney function, cholesterol, ldl, hdl, trigs, etc, etc are “better than normal and excellent”. I guess watching my diet to help me manage diabetes has some bonus advantages as well
