I’ve often resorted to tubs of egg mayo. I don’t much like it but tuna mayo or some such variant in tubs or tins works. Salads, large sections of English breakfast. Steak/chicken and salad/veg ditching the chips for more salad/veg. A cheese and cold meats platter. Seafood if that’s your thing, two if starter sized. Mushrooms if you can find them without breadcrumbs. Roast chicken pieces from a rotisserie. A packet of ham. A packet of sliced cheese. High meat % sausages. Artichoke hearts. Olives. Celery with tzaiki or pate. Coleslaw if checked for carbs. Some prepared (fridge found) soups work- carrot and coriander or a tomato based one tend to work out best. McDonald’s salads, burger without a bun doesn’t leave much even when you add extras of what’s left. Subway salads ( not my thing but they work). KFC chicken isn’t as bad as you’d think carb wise. Curries can work but avoid Chinese on the whole except for foo yung. Doner kebabs without the pita.
