Mounjaro and heel pain

Been on this 5 mg maintenance dose for a year and it’s controlled my blood sugar levels to normal.
Getting a lot of heel pain and knee joint pain.
I’m highly active walking and cycling everyday.
Due to see a podiatrist next month but I think it’s the mounjaro.
Anyone else experiencing this??
Type 2 diabetes.
Many thanks

I am T1 pumper, it I see a lot of diabetics with foot pain, a lot can be the shoes/trainers, the way you walk, it I have plantar fasciitis also I have neuropathy in my right foot, the plantar can be alleviated by rolling a can of beans under your foot, backwards and forwards, stretching also helps, it does come and go, mine has gone for a while now ( the plantar fasciitis not the neuropathy)
I too am waiting to go on mounjaro as I’ve ballooned since retiring!

Let me know how you get on, oh I did co-codamol as mine was very painful

It’s defo not plantar as I had it before…it’s only since I started injecting. My knees also ache. Not losing any weight as I’m stuck on the 5 mg maintenance dose and they won’t increase it as my bloods are within the correct range.

I just re read my message to you, I’m sorry it’s all over the place, **** phone and predictive text!

I found salt has an effect on me, it’s strange what it can do?

Was this happening to you just a little bit before the jab?

I would certainly call the quacks and ask for advice?

Have you got any numbness in your heel?

Call the doctor fella, asking never hurts, just to ask to be on the safe side.
