Hi everyone. I'm 20 years old and have had t1d for just over a year. I went up to guys hospital in London today for the first time to start a clinical trial! It is a vaccine that I will be given over a 6 month period, it's hoped to cure, if not cure..slow down the process of type 1 diabetes. I'm happy to keep anyone informed who wants to know how it goes ☺☺

@Natalielw - I'm thinking about signing up for this too. Any experiences to share? How long is each appointment? Got to get agreement from my employer so would be useful to know what kind of commitment is needed. Thanks.

I'm so sorry for this super late reply! Its attending twice a month for 6 months. Vaccine, and then a safety check the following week
