Muscle spasms

Hey

Been on metformin for a few months now and everything okay, had one lot of bloods checked and all was well. Then three days ago I started getting kidney spasms, or what seems in the kidney area. Depending on how I bend or lay depends on the spasms. Has anyone else had these systems and is the tablets to blame.

My back goes into spasm when I try to turn or stretch to reach something. Top of my left foot and left calf also regularly go into spasm, more so if my feet are cold, which is why I wear bedsocks at home when I'm just sitting around. During the day I have to go barefoot in sandals because I'm constantly hot and clammy even in winter.
 
Yeah I've booked appointment at docs, I've stopped taken tablets for now. Stretch wrong or lay down brings spasms on. Strange. [CONFOUNDED FACE]
