@Squeekyboy - Hello Steve, I thought you had left the Forum, as not seen any postings from you. I am well Thank You and recently (last week) had my Diabetic Review at the Hospital and all was good results.
Mushrooms are very low in Carbs and Calories too. The nutrients in mushrooms not only aid digestion, but they boost your Immune System and are known to be Cancer Fighting Warriors.
I eat them raw, sliced on salads and also Creamed Mushrooms on Toast, and cook them in quite a lot of dishes.
How are you doing with your Diabetes? William :)
P.S. The Brown (Irish) Mushrooms have a nice nutty flavour.

Thanks for answers: Brilliant to hear you're keeping in control with your diabetes:
My Diabetes testing strips have come to an end, so must now request another 50 strips box full from my Doc but after reading stuff on here, re people not getting any, well I'll see first, then if get none, I'll have to do what the rest of you do & buy a new tester & discount strips. I'm still keeping the carbs very low & checking labels but don't seem to have lost any weight, however am still not allowed to do vigorous exercise due to blood clotting but I'm at the hematologists again on the 10th June, so should find out more from him, after all the blood he has had out of me lately.

The lack of being active on the forum, is down to working late, then picking the missus up after her finishing late, get home make something to eat, get it down our necks, then look up at the clock that say's nine forty five, sigh & ask myself where the day has gone.
I do look in on you all, when I'm in bed, whilst checking e-mails & other stuff on my tablet but am having loads of trouble with my SKY connections, as its always loosing it lately, it gets so frustrating, as if we don't get enough of that already.
Anyway, to end on a nice note...I'm going to the Isle of Wight for my jollies as we have friends there, just waiting for the first two weeks in July to arrive (which won't be long) & we'll be away!
PS Great news re Cancer fighter in Mushrooms, didn't know that. One more great drug from natures store! Steve.
