Just found a great american blues artist called Guy Davis. Great accoustic guitar work, harmonica and interesting backing on some tracks. Just got great CD "Butt Naked Free" from 2000 with all but one original tracks (though you probably won't know on first listen)
Have a listen, love to know your thoughts.

I have listened to Leonard Cohen for forty years plus.
Love him.
My hobby is creating sound and trying to make some of it into music.
I'm never going to make Top of The Pops but who cares.
I had a go at doing his Tower of Song.
First one in a deep rough voice and faster than the original second attempt slower but in a higher voice ... good fun putting them together at the time.
Best compliment I got was .... you sound like a Dalek!!!!
I'm thinking .... at least someone famous then!
I don't think Simon Cowell will be rushing round anytime soon.
