My 7 year old having Night Terror's

Hi,

My 7 year old daughter was diagnosed in November 10 with type 1 diabetes and had what the doc's called a severe night terror a couple of night ago. They say its common in children who are diabetic. Just wondering if anyone experienced night terrors' and does it happen regularly???

Hi. My son who is 6 has night terrors quite a lot. I didn't know it was down to his diabetes though as my daughter who also has type 1 has never had them.

At first we thought that perhaps my son's sugar was on the low side, but whenever he has had these terrors we always check his bg and it is always at a respectable level.

Hopefully someone else will be along a bit later to provide some more information on the matter.
 
Jess experiences these and sometimes it coincides with low blood sugars.
