There's nothing we can do or say to take away the pain and the hopelessness that you're feeling right now... What I can say though, is there are many fantastic people here who will be at your service, day or night, to help with any queries you may have. Although none of us are not medical professionals, most of us are diabetics and understand the intricacies and issues that are faced everyday living with the condition. You have come to the right place:) I'm sure you will also have an excellent diabetes team who will be able to assist at all times when you feel overwhelmed or consumed by it all. That is their job and they will be more than happy to help. Out of interest, where do you live? It's possible that you may be able to get in touch with forum members that live nearby. And if you wanted, meet in person. It helps to bring home the fact that you're not alone in this situation. Even better, your daughter might even meet someone her age who is also a T1D. There's comfort in knowing that you're not alone, and I can guarantee that you (and most importantly you're daughter) are not:)
