I have been low carb and on 3x metformin 500g since August. Initialy I felt great as my headaches went away and I had loads of energy and was increasing my exercise. While my BG level was still about 7 at its lowest and up to 10 or 11 after food I thought that my BG would start to drop after a while. No I am now getting the headaches back and I am hungry, I am getting very tempted to eat the wrong stuff as I feel very sorry for my self. What I would like to ask is if this is a common thing, do I need to take more metformin and what the flippin' eck do I have to do to get my BG down to a reasonable level.
