Just been to clinic for my results
HbA1c - 6.4 down from 7.8 WHEY!!!
weight loss brilliant - 1 st 5lb since last weighed in September
BP 138/76 - up slightly but still ok - expected as have had a very very stressful time last few days
liver,thyroid etc ok
kidneys - a tiny amount of protein - no concern from db nurse and GP
BUT my chol has shot up from 4.5 to 5.5!!!
apparently my surgery don't do split chol because they don't do fasting tests so have no idea on my ratio :?
need to get that down! - db nurse has given me a couple of days to decide whether I want to try diet or go onto some medication - I would value peoples opinions on this and if I do it by diet is there anything I could add to my diet that may help? - at the moment I eat to my meter about 130g carb per day and try to eat low fat where possible but do admit my hubby can be a bit heavy handed at times
All in all I am very happy with my results - especially my bgs
