I have a thing for the weird and wonderful and weirdly enough these are the easiers pets you can imagine, all they need is a filter for the water and a fish tank and food (blood worm, worms nom!) and away you go, no heaters, no lights just that which in the realm of odd pets is pretty low.
This is my Paddle Tail Newt Sir Issac Newton

Then I have three off these little chappies Chinese Fire Belly Newts

The this is the easiest of all its a Fire salamander no pumps or filters just a box with moss kept moist, a hide and water bowl for bathing and dusted with calcium crickets for lunch a Fire Salamander.

Cute!

I used to keep rats for years. Gorgeous wee beasties. I think I have an obsession with furry little bellies. All my little crew were resigned to the belly tickle manoeuvre. So obviously your wee fire bellies appeal to me.

I've come across fire salamanders in Eastern Europe - fascinating animals.

I love your Pets!

We used to keep giant African land snails, Paul and Barry (Chuckle) they were wonderful I loved watching them for hours, we has them from the size of a 10p piece and they where the size of a large fist in the end. Very easy to look after but they got sick and died, vet thinks there was something in the moss even though we always bought it from a reputable source.

Little cuties. Thanks for sharing them with us.
I have 3 very old and greedy Mediterranean tortoises, a goldfish that just keeps on going, and a fabulous boxer dog.

I would love a bearded Lizard but he can't stand Reptiles. I once had a photo taken with a Royal Python around my neck, he backed away quickly. Lol,
