okay my partners 1st cousin has type one since he was 18months old, his gran also has type one but so far my partner is fine but im worried about my son so im woundering if anyone can help me.. here goes -
he has had a very sever case of chicken pox and tonsilitis together 5 weeks ago the reg at hospital said his immune system had been over ruled by it and thus it had crashed hence him being very unwell. since he has recoverd though he has been constantly hungry constantly asking me for food even after eating, he seems tired to not drinking exsessivly but is going through a farir bit but not a worrying amount - the main worry is the hunger before this he woul survive on minimal food intake now he cant stop. another worrying thing we have noticed is a few times when he has been asking for food he has become very red and flushed in the face yet clammy and cold sweat , then he gets very tearfull and behaviour that is just not him - whimpering. this happened in town last week and thorugh it all he was crying for food yet and hour before hand he had had lunch   so i gave him a sausage roll to eat as we were by the bakers and then once he had eaten it he was fine, totaly fine back to how he was before he had the flushed/clammy skin and strange behaviour   is this a sign of his glucose or sugar levels being wrong ???? rhian mum to christopher who is 4 in november and aidan who is 15months
