Hi, I had my first appointment today with my GP. He was absolutely useless. Basically I have to wait to see the consultant who diagnosed me. It felt like he was saying "it's isn't my problem"
I then preceded to see a nurse. Who thankfully supplied me with a 'mylife pura X' meter. Is it any good? I will have a prescription for lancet etc at the pharmacy tomorrow apparently too. She didn't explain to me much as she assumed I knew it all with have GD. But when I prompted for levels and how often to test. It's all different!
She told me to test once a week! Also I can't for the life remember what the BG should be at?
