I’ve just tried to administer a new Libre 2 plus sensor and rather than the usual bendy nylon strip entering my skin it was a hard nail/tack.

Fortunately it did not enter my skin hence the reason I can now deliberate, however I really cannot fathom what has happened here ‍♂️

Anyone else experienced this and/or know good reason

Ps - no I’m not having a hypo

I think it was simply the needle that's used to insert the filament.

Sometimes the blue 'collar' of the applying thing has dropped a little so you feel the needle on your skin.
You can simply pull it up very carefully until it clicks, and it will function as normal.
