Hi again
I'm sure there must be topics on this forum somewhere about natural ways to lower cholestrol but I'm having a bit of trouble locating them.
I may only be 27 by my cholestrol is 6.something which I found quite shocking. High chol does run in the family though.
The DNS told me she wants that well below 4 when she next sees me at the end of December - which seems impossible to me - else she'll be putting me on statins! Well from what I've read, they're a last resort and not necessary for someone my age so I'll be refusing them for now, I have enough to deal with.
So aside from drinks like Benecol (or supermarket-own cheapy ones) are there any other natural aids? (She suggested oily fish twice a week would help, said in hushed tones like it was a mystical dieting secret - I already eat this, if not more!)
