Need some help

Hi just in need of some helpful advise my husband is a type 1 for 30 odd years
And he dont seem to care about anything he knows what can happen as he already blind in one eye and lost his leg i tried to help him it goes ok for so long them he loses interest and starts eating sugery and pastry things i done the carb counting for him and i got to do his injections cause if i dont he wont do them but sometimes i am so busy running around after the kidsi forget and says to him to do it but he doesnt he went 2 days without doing his needle i try my hardest but it feels like i cant win

That sounds awful. I'm afraid I don't really have any advice for you, but it must be an extremely difficult situation for you. The thought of complications and an early death is what motivates me to control it well. Very sad indeed that going blind and losing a leg hasn't motivated him. I really hope things improve for you.
