Hi fellow Type I's!

I'm currently getting my masters in Visual and Material Anthropology at Oxford and I'm working on a project about how we relate to technology in our everyday life, and how technologies affect our everyday lives (and social lives). I'm trying out different creative research methods now and I was wondering if any of you would help me out (it'll only take a minute)!

I've been asking people to draw or quickly sketch their insulin pumps from memory. Alternatively, you could draw your meter or needles/pens, etc. It's very open-ended, so feel free to add notes or reflections if you feel like it, but its not necessary. Then if you could just snap a photo of your sketch (nothing too fancy, even a mobile phone pic would be great) and send it to me in the next couple days (by commenting on this post or private messaging me), I'd really appreciate it! It really can be even the most casual sketch and don't worry, it won't be published or anything!

Also, if you know anyone else who'd be willing to do a quick sketch from memory as well, please pass along my contact info to them. I know its a bit of a weird request but it should only take a minute and it would really help me out!

Thank you so much,
Ava

Interesting post. Judging by the lack of public response, everyone must be shy with their pictures or furiously sketching still. I'll do something for you tomorrow when I'm in front of some paper.

Thanks so much @shedges ! Really appreciate it.

And for everyone, I just want to reiterate that there there shouldn't be any pressure for these to feel like works of art (my own would definitely just be a few geometric shapes...) - so don't feel shy! :)
