been having a think about the Hounslow meeting that I went to (quite) a few weeks ago..
Without starting another "something must be done" thread, it occurred to me that some fact finding might be in order, so I thought perhaps I could go out and about and try and attend some more local meetings. The trouble is that I'm not a member of DUK (and don't think I could bring myself to join).
So, like Ian and his Hounslow group, are there others on here that are aware of or connected to local DUK support groups - ideally for me they'd be in the Oxfordshire, Bucks sort of area? I just want to attend, listen, take some notes - not cause trouble or heckle.
Given the statistics we've seen in that audit today I think a period of information gathering might be in order and this is one way we might do it.
