I was diagnosed wit type2 a year ago. I have had 3 numb toes for almost 10 years. Now those toes give me pain on walking, my other toes are a bit numb. My fingers tingle, brought on by using iPad,(use stylus now). Also have same feeling in backside where I sit and sides I lie on. Recent article in magazine on Gastroparesis made me realise I have that problem too. Digestion etc up the creek!

I have a neurologist appointment at the end of June but am getting really worried. Any advice?

for the feet
try to get a podiatry appointment. You should be able to self refer, so ring you local hospital podiatry service.
Otherwise
keep your blood glucose as close to NORMAL [5] as much of the time as you can. Neuropathy does sometimes improve slowly

Try and control your diabetes as best as possible and see your gp whilst you wait for your neurology appointment, drugs like Amitriptyline help with nerve pain and he/she may prescribe some to relieve the discomfort.
