She is at the Police station now, she just text me. She said because she was so early she may get her interview a little early. No more texts, so am guessing she is in. I can't eat my dinner shake, it's made up and beside me, but my tummy is doing flips.

Thanks everyone, I am more nervous than she is, I know how much she wants this.
 
Do you know how long it will take? I am getting cramp in my fingers for having them crossed and 2 finger typing is so slow.

#1 Son has a job interview tomorrow. Sadly, it's not in his field (Chemistry) but a job's a job these days. At the moment he works at the Citizen's Advice Bureau.

Thank you so much girls, uncross all your bits and bobs :lol: She is out, but they haven't told her anything, but she is certain she did well. She is heading home now. Phew! Jo x

Around about May 11, so not too long. If she is accepted she will get a letter and welcome pack. She did say the instructor did kind of give her a nod, but it may be wishful thinking on her part, even though I am sure she has done fine.
 
If she's happy with the way it went, it means she's done her best, which is good to know whichever way it goes. But I'm sure she's done well. A good interviewer can always tell enthusiasm

She sounds a lovely young woman. Not angling for the Mounted Branch, is she? If they'd let women ride the horses in my day, I might have applied too! :lol: :wink:

You know you hear about teenage girls going to bed perfectly normal and waking p as little demons, and then a few years later go to bed as the demon and wake up the lovely child again, I think the aliens missed picking her up. :lol: She is sure she did well and said the interview was very relaxed. It is looking good.

I had a friend who was a guardsman in the blue's and royals, mounted division, apart from hours cleaning the tack, what a job to have. When ever I saw them, I knew the work that went into those uniforms and tack, but he loved it. We all ride, or at least used to. My daughters had a grey pony called Blaize, he was so patient, a beautiful beast.

Thanks all, I am so proud, and just a little emotional. She wanted this so much, and when the letter came today, I knew it was to thick to just say thanks but no thanks, but had to wait until she came home to finally know for sure. I am over the moon. (Can you tell :lol: ).
 
What good news Defren, I am so pleased for you both. Surprising how apt your dancing Banana is these days.
