Neuropathic itch

people who ignore me because of my amputation
I have itchy skin on my shoulders arms and elbows, looking at skin there's nothing there.

Is anybody experiencing this.

I have Poloyneuropathy and have read there is something called neuropathic itch.

Does anybody have any ideas for the itching
 
Has your G.P. suggested any treatment @Trev 48?
There are some creams on the market such as capsicum which might help to alleviate the itching. You could ask to be referred to a neurologist if your G.P. cannot suggest anything.
