Am I to assume that sepsis can affect diabetes?
In June this year I developed a blister on the pad of my big toe. The blister tore and became an ulcer. I'v been dressing it with honey and sorbsan dry dressings.
Friday 4th oct and I felt unwell. Awfull evening and night being sick. Sat 5th oct went to minor injuries dept at my local hospital in Newark, Notts. Given another course of antibiotics.
I am now on my third course of antibiotics, these are floxicillin 500mg.
As I type this my G.L. is 14. On Friday night it was 32.
As an A+E dept I was told they wouldn't mess with my diabetes drugs and advised me to see my G.P. on Monday however the good news is that since taking the antibiotics I feel better and my G.L. is returning to some form of normality. posting.php?mode=post&f=25#
