Hi , I was shocked recently when I discovered my big toe and two adjacent toes were completely numb . Even when squeezing my big toe i almost could not feel it . On having a consultation , I was very disappointed with the response from my doctor , "thats diabetes , she said " . I was given an appointment with a diabetic nurse who carried out a sensitivity test and the results were not good for my left foot . My left foot at moderate risk was the diagnosis . I did not want to take this lying down, as I have had very limited symptoms to date and am very active . After searching the internet for information and treatment , I came across a Chinese doctor who recently moved to London and had some success (from the reviews) at treating Diabetic Neuropathy and even gangrene . I have undergone 8 sessions to date 50 Mins each , acupuncture , heat treatment and a special treatment as he calls it , and the feeling has returned to my toes and foot . Just slight loss of deep feeling in my toe to left foot . It is definitely improving and I am optimistic that I am managing to reverse the neuropathy .
Am I allowed to post a number on the forum for this Doctor and his treatment that might be of help to others who are in the same situation .If some one could advise me .
Thanks
