I suffer from neuropathy because of my diabetes. Numbness of the feet and pains in my legs. Does anyone know ne have the same problem? If so, is there a cure?

I have same problem and no cure, i take morphine for my pain it is very hard to live with I broke my ankle and didn't feel the pain but I do feel the pain from neuropathy strange. 2 year's on from braking my ankle has left me with Charcot injury & twisted out of shape foot. The numbness causes me to fall over a lot also walking is very hard. Sorry for the negative comments it's just there's not enough information on this, my numbness started around 5 years ago and is real bad now affected my quality of life massively.

Hi - this is my concern as well. i noticed that parts of my feet have no sensation at all. i used to have severe leg pain but i no longer feel that as often. i'm constantly told there's no cure and that it can only progress. i'm sorry too that everything about this is negative - but maybe we can research and ask around how to let it not affect our quality of life that much. despite this i still wish you both a really great day

Thanks for sharing. I see on the Internet, as you may have to, a lot of commercials saying it's curable but of course, they ask for money. At first they says it's $39 but then they ask for more. So I guess it's all a scam, and there's no cure, as you point out. All my doctor says is take gabapentin, but it doesn't help.

I also used to have neuropathy in one foot. I had a back operation which effectively killed a lot of nerves and I lost all feeling in my left leg - apart from excruciating pain from neuropathy! I used to lie awake at night, crying with the pain. However, when I started the LCHF (low carb high fat) way of eating, the pain just went away. The only time it comes back is if I've over-done it on the carbs. It honestly feels like a miracle. Maybe worth a try? Have a look at the low carb forum - there are loads of us there who can help and give advice. Wishing you luck.
