I have type 2. 16 years ago I had a liver transplant - 13 rejectionsand constant steroids to knock down my immune system the transplant stabilized. I was left with a numbness in my right leg which progressed into a diagnosis of diabetic neuropathy which is extensive affecting my feet, lower legs and just generally.
I retired after a 40 year career in media and accepted my life changed forever ----now I am concentrating on a new life as an artist and IT consultant (JUST TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY - GRATIS!). A couple of years ago I gained a Masterss Degree in Digital Art at the UAL (University of the Arts London).
I have developed expert knowledge of software and hardware on both PC and Mac platforms. Maybe I could create a HELP GROUP for members -----I work on my art, I have a studio in my garden,. I work across media --- photography video, classical arts...I live in London as a single guy!
I love to cook ---- everything from Classical French, Thai, Indian. My studio is well equipped and a great place to meditate...I love European culture and dining...I have lived in Florence, Italy, which defines my life...anyway, I also love music and rock, theatre and movies.
