does having any kind of neuropathy in thighs toes legs etc mean having to tell dvla and being forced to quiut driving? :?

In a word, no

The DVLA are not interested in whether or not you have leg pains or other neuro pains only if you have something that affects your ability to drive safely ie if your eye sight is affected or if you have hypos needing assistance which as a T2 on oral meds is highly unlikely

I suppose it may be possible for a lack of feeling in your foot/feet to affect how you feel the pedals of a car but unless your doctor has told you otherwise I would not inform the DVLA of anything.

Sid's right. I contacted them on diagnosis on the word of my DSN (I'm T2 on diet only!)and they told me they're not interested unless I'm on Hypo-inducing drugs AND suffer from hypos.
